Ben Wilcox

Ben Wilcox joined Wilcox Financial and Wilcox Sports Management after 5 years with Clear Channel Communications. He is a graduate of Bowling Green State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, where he later served on the Young Alumni Task Force. Outside of class, Ben was the goaltender for the club lacrosse team.

Ben graduated from the Culver Military Academy in Culver, Indiana. He was a member of the Band Unit, played on the hockey and soccer teams, and captained the Varsity B Lacrosse Team.

Ben currently resides in Maumee, Ohio, and in his free time enjoys exercising and photography. He is also a play-by-play commentator for BCSN Television covering high school and collegiate sports .

Ben focuses on financial, investment and estate planning for business owners, families, young professionals, and coaches.

Peter J. Winovich III

Peter J. Winovich III joined Wilcox Financial/Wilcox Sports Management after graduating from Bowling Green State University with a Bachelors of Science degree in Financial Economics.

Since joining the financial services industry, he has qualified for membership in the Presidents Club, Leaders Court, and most recently, Inner Circle through Ameritas, recognizing him for his high level of service to his clients. He is also a 4-time member of the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT), which is recognized internationally as the standard of sales excellence in the life insurance and financial services business.

Originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, he was recruited to play football at Bowling Green State University. He helped lead the BGSU football team to two MAC East titles and two bowl games. He excelled both athletically and academically earning recognition into the 2008 National Football Foundation & College Hall of Fame Honor Society, Falcon Club's Junior Scholar Athlete of the Year and ESPN The Magazine Academic All District.

He has served on several boards including the Falcon Club Advisory Board, the Young Alumni board, the Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) and was most recently elected to the BGSU Alumni Board of Directors.

Peter and his wife, Kristin, live with their daughter Penelope, in Toledo, Ohio.

Jarrod F. Hirschfeld

Jarrod is a Financial Advisor at Wilcox Financial/Wilcox Sports Management. He is a graduate of Bowling Green State University with a Bachelors of Science degree in Financial Economics. He served as Undergraduate Student Representative to the Board of Trustees, as well as President of the Economics Club and Treasurer of the University Ambassadors. Jarrod is also a graduate of Culver Military Academy, where he graduated with numerous awards in leadership.

Jarrod began his career in the investment business in 2003 and joined Wilcox Financial/Wilcox Sports Management in the fall of 2006. He works with individuals, families, coaches and business owners in the area of financial, business, investment and retirement planning.

In 2006, Jarrod was awarded the Accredited Asset Management Specialist Designation, which helps provide solutions for clients in areas of allocation and risk management. He is dedicated to the needs and success of those he works with. As an Investment Advisor Representative, Jarrod has spoken to groups throughout the United States.

Jarrod served as Treasurer and Board Member for Junior Achievement of Northwest Ohio, an organization that teaches over 22,000 local students business and financial skills annually. He also served as Chairman of the BGSU Alumni Board and has chaired multiple committees apart of the Alumni Association during his five year term on the Alumni Board. He also served as the Alumni Association liaison to the Bowling Green State University Foundation Board for two years. Jarrod is currently a member of his Church Finance Committee as well.

Jarrod, his wife, Erin, and their daughter Adelle reside in Sylvania, Ohio.

Patrick Kenney

Patrick Kenney, a 1983 graduate of Miami University, Oxford, Ohio, was named to the list of Who’s Who in American Universities. With a degree in Accounting, Patrick began a career in public accounting and obtained his CPA® designation. Shortly thereafter, Patrick entered the financial services industry and is in his 31st year of running his financial advisory practice.  

As a Registered Investment Advisor, he has extensive experience assisting individuals and corporations in a variety of financial issues and has built a strong reputation in the industry focusing on tax-advantaged investment planning.   

He holds numerous industry awards including a 25-year membership in the Million Dollar Round Table, with 15 years at Top of The Table which recognizes less than 1% of advisors worldwide.  He was Field Advisory Chair Person for Union Central, one of the country’s largest and oldest mutual insurance companies and has qualified for their National Marketing Conference every year since 1986.  In 2005, Union Central selected Patrick as the 23rdinductee into its prestigious Hall of Fame, making him the youngest inductee in the company’s 150-year history. 

Besides his financial advisory practice, Patrick has additional entrepreneurial experience.  In 1987, he and a college fraternity brother started Health Care Solutions, a home health care business which grew to thirty-five offices in five states and which sold in 2003 to a publicly traded industry leader.  He is a co-founder of CareLink Nursing Services which in 2015 celebrates 26 years in business.  In addition, he was a founding member of Ohio Innovations Fund, a venture capital fund which provided initial round financing to technical startup companies, one of which now trades publicly on NASDAQ. 

Patrick maintains a strong commitment to local civic and charitable organizations.  He is a recipient of the Twenty Under Forty Award which recognizes individuals under the age of 40 in Northwest Ohio for leadership in their career and community.  He is currently serving on the University of Toledo Foundation Board of Trustees.  He is a past board member of Toledo Area Chamber of Commerce, Toledo Area Small Business Association, St. Francis de Sales High School, St. Ursula Academy, Toledo Botanical Gardens, St. Joseph Parish, Kids Unlimited, and Keep Toledo-Lucas County Beautiful. 

In 2009, Patrick initiated an annual fundraising event to benefit University of Toledo football. To date, the initiative has successfully raised over $250,000 for the program. 

Mayor D. Michael Collins selected Patrick as the Chairman of the City of Toledo Economic Development Committee which oversees the City’s involvement with regional economic development agencies. 

In support of the Toledo Museum of Art, Patrick and his wife are members of the President’s Council and the prestigious Apollo Society. 

Patrick is a licensed pilot, a marathon runner and an avid fly fisherman.  He and his wife, Maureen, have four children and reside in Sylvania, Ohio.
